Mission

The Frederick County Comprehensive School Health program's mission is to promote optimal health among students and staff by preventing health problems or identifying, intervening and remediating
health problems that occur.

The purpose of the Comprehensive School Health Program is to:

  • Promote healthy lifestyles

  • Prevent injuries and illnesses

  • Assist students that have health needs

  • Assist students with access to primary health care

  • Educate students, staff, and the community regarding health needs
